Radish

Passing through Tamworth I called in on Hobbycraft for 2 delightful Revell (Monogram) Bearcats, RAF Pilots and Ground Crew, and an Airfix Arado Ar.196.
All 1/72nd.....

The Bearcats will of course be whiffed....RAuxAF? RAF, RN, Portuguese,  whatever....
The Arado will possibly be USN, 3-colour....or RAF SEAC colours.

I also got the Trumpeter Spiteful at the Darlo show.  However, it's a disappointment.  The canopy has no slide rails, the fuselage has a cut out for it where they should be none as the rear rests on top of the fuselage (think Matchbox Tempest and Spitfire 16 compared to the more accurate Academy and Heller kits). The wings has positionable flaps and ailerons but the other control surfaces on the tail are moulded integral.  More importantly, the u/c legs are complete fiction, being more akin to those on a Mustang.  A call to Colin at Freightdog to see if he has somewhite metal left over from the Silver Cloud one is in order here.

Was tempted by the Sword Seafire III but managed to resist.  ;D
