Twice in one day!

Another fruitless trip out in search of DIY bits "just happened" to go past Warren Kerfoot Models, where an Airfix 1/600th Manxman/Suffolk was liberated, for the princely sum of £6.00 - nice one Warren!

The Manxman is destined for Patchwork World (Manx Navy, of course). Don't know about the Suffolk yet....

EDIT: scale corrected......

Cheers Pyro!

Yeap although Matchbox did do a 1/700 Manxman class Ariadne i think.

As for a 1/700 HMS Queen Elizabeth i assume you mean the new carrier in build, as the WW1 battleship has been released by Trumpeter and we should hopefully get a WW2 refit version in due course. There was a resin one in the works which was canned after the manufacturer went for commercial resin casting as i was communicating with the guy when i scratch built mine back in 2010

Yep, the carrier. Though I suspect they'd be more likely to do a 1:350 one, to match the Type 45. I can hope though! As to the battleship, I have had my eye on one. Torn between it and waiting to see if they do first refit (trunked-funnel) version, though I'd prefer either to a late refit version.
