So far this year, nothing.  SWMBO is very happy!  Unfortunately (for her, that is!) My CF-100 Canuck project is terminated due to a serious Cat Attack and I'm off to the LHS when we take the grandkid home tomorrow . . . There is a great one about 5 miles from their place . . .  ;) ;) ;)

bobbo

3 Separate trips there, came back with a bottle of primer.  That's all.  Nothing else.  (Nothing turned me on!  Maybe I should see a doctor . . . )

EDIT:

SWMBO was looking over my shoulder when I typed this:  Her response:  "Maybe you should look at trains instead."

3 x 1/72nd Il-2M3 Eduard Weekend kits...only a smudge in price over the Airfix kit. Thinking Irish Air Corps, and US Navy. Possible East German??

A truly dreadful 1/100th Revell click-together-ready painted F-4E "Thunderbirds"....looking forward to building this straight from the box. :o :o

From Evilbay recently - 2 Revell (ex Hasegawa) 1/48 Phantom FGR 2. Got BOTH at a combined cost that was LESS than just one of the Hasagawa originals - these continue to fetch silly prices.! A-model Sukhoi T-49 & Lavochkin La 250 "Anakonda" ( GREAT whif potential that one!). Heller 1/72 Boeing E3 AWACS - currently on the whif bench. Also picked up a number of old Airfix goodies at a car boot sale  for a mere £5 (£ 8 kits in total!!)  One of which is the Halifax B.III. Quite a decent model in spite of its age but, it DOES need a lot of TLC. So, I'm going to try & produce a better B.III by combining the wings/engines from the Airfix kit with the new Revell Halifax.

Of course, having done that, Revell will then go on to produce a B.III themselves!!!!!

Tony O'Toole did a fantastic job doing just that over on Britmodeller.

Thanks for the heads up. Will definitely check it out. How's the Spitfire collection going  by the way? It's not an aeroplane that interests me personally as a modelling subject but, I like the idea of a themed collection such as this. I hope one day to do the same for the Harrier and Phantom
