Im just settling for the 3 that arrived from Hannants yesterday.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

And I've got one, plus a new Airfix Gnat, on 'hold' at my other daughter's shop as a Father's Day pressie. Naturally she's in charge of the models section at Boswells in Oxford.  ;) ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

How did you get that lot home ?

I settled for the 1 I picked up yesterday - makes 3 in total
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Steel Penguin

from the toy fair at the nec
a 1:48 tracked rapier from ASAM
a second hand capatin scarlet car, need repainting
and a pair of artics, 1 in 1:50 and the outher i think in 1:60th. secnery and use in wargaming.
I was looking for  a SHADOW mobile but evan the second hand scrappers were going for 35 pluss and the new in box ones were 300+  madness.

Mr.Creak

Just came across these while getting some groceries:

Both listed as "193 mm long" (about 1/100?) and no manufacturer that I can see.
There was also a P-51 Mustang. Includes (crappy) paintbrush, 4 pots of paint (red, blue, green & black) and stick-on "decals".
OTOH for £2.99...

Sprue shots:

As you can see the MiG-29 actually IS a Fulcrum, not an MFI 1.44 Flatpack as the box shows.

Trench-like panel lines, a finish to the plastic that would be better on an AFV with cast armour, but dirt cheap and despite having solid cockpits I reckon they're suitable fodder for WHIFfing projects; shouldn't be too hard to replace the cockpit and canopy.

Found in B&M (Bargain Madness) if you're going to look.
