Didn't realise it was on Howard. I'm at the old office which is almost above the gallery on Friday I shall pop in.

i also got to see the new RAF bomber command memorial for the first time.

Quite impressive, isn't it

there is plenty to look at in the GAvA exhibition chris. the cratoons [well that's what they looked like to me] of the future FAA were very funny indeed! F-35 being 'launched' from a RN carrier by spring! also some excellent pastel drawing of FAA helos over stormy seas and plenty of HP victors! i also got to meet roy huxley [him of the matchbox artwork fame!!!!] at the preview too.

the bomber command memorial is very impresive. the central group of aircrew being particularly so. from all of the tributes that you can see that are left there, its clearing fufilling a need for rememberance.

Random buy, Tamiya 1/35 Stegosaurus.  Not quite sure why....
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Bought yesterday: an Airfix F-86D sabre, a Frog Spitfire and V1 set and an EMHAR Mcdonnell Demon, an Revell F14 1/144 Tomcat and last but not least an Airfix Dogfight Double Mosquito/262 set, and it wasn't even my birthday. Erm, that's today. And I am still hunting for an F22 Spitfire.

Meerkats would do nicely!  Wonder if I could find jockey gear that would fit them, or maybe pith helmets???  Or thinking of pith helmets, and a bit of lateral thinking leading me to Rorke's Drift and then to zulus, maybe some warriors riding the Steg on hunting party???

Two vacfom canopies from Anigrand for my recently purchased Mach 2 P6M-2 Seamaster.

Superb product, silly price and very quick delivery, well done Mr. Anigrand.

Mossie, you can buy British Lancers riding unicycles so why not Stegasauri ? Maybe on Mars inspired by the Jules Verne novels ?

Picked up the new Airfix P-51D Mustang from LMS

Collected from Post Office:-
Fujimi Westkand Sea King - want the details to make a decent HAS5 RN Sea King, the Fujimi Kit can then be used to do a Sikorsky S-3 Argentine Navy
Airfix A-4B/P Skyhawk
Aztec 1/72 Falklands War set 1, some nice schemes including a camo Sea King (which is what the Fujimi kit is for  ;))

Just looked up those unicycle lancers, fantastic!  You've got the brain cells working, I'm now thinking pith helmets again, but maybe some kind of hunter/adventurer, a kind of steampunk mix of Dr Livingstone, Allan Quatermaine and Indiana Jones....

There are a fair few figure ranges and rule sets Mossie. Hunters, missionaries, ladies in distress (and not in distress  ;D) slavers, natives and all the wildlife - modern and prehistoric

Be nice to see a larger vingette
