You've got the brain cells working, I'm now thinking pith helmets again, but maybe some kind of hunter/adventurer, a kind of steampunk mix of Dr Livingstone, Allan Quatermaine and Indiana Jones....

There are a fair few figure ranges and rule sets Mossie. Hunters, missionaries, ladies in distress (and not in distress  ;D) slavers, natives and all the wildlife - modern and prehistoric

Be nice to see a larger vingette

"Things need not have happened to be true. Tales and dreams are the shadow-truths that will endure when mere facts are dust and ashes, and forgot."

Nice, exactly what I was looking for!  The scale is maybe a bit small unless I want to go a little 'Hollywood' and not worry about such trifling matters, or I could 'borrow' the styling to convert a few figures???
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

It's the ideal subject in which to mix scales
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Just the Sword T-4N Two Seat Harrier and the SkyHigh Turbo Mentor from Hannants today

The New Sword Two Seat Harrier is rather tasty as includes a nice eduard painted ecth cockpit, very thin and clear canopy and the fit itself is based on the Italeri kit so it should be possibe to fit the resin replacement Harrier intakes to get the semi open aux intake doors. Decals look rather tasty too  ;D

Polar Lights 1/1000 Klingon D7, Modelzone in Hull.

Knocked down to a tenner, I've fancied some Trek or other sci-fi kits for a while but I begrudge paying the high prices asked.
