one Airfix Vickers Valiant B(PR)K-1/B(K)-1 conversion set.

I might add that between them OGL and Howard of Effingham bought out the ENTIRE stock of the avialiable Airfix Valiant conversion sets at the show!  :o

Does that mean their were only two sets as Martin said he only got the one, or has Howard been hoarding ? (nah he would only do that if its a Victor conversion set  ;D as thats his preferred V-Bomber !)

They have popped up on eBay over the weekend, and i suspect Aircav may well be packing one up for me this morning that i got from his employers eBay stall

Nice little parcel of assorted Spitfire wreckage arrived on Saturday, courtesy of Van.  Mainly old Frog and Testors and enough for about two aircraft.

guilty as charged, my lud!  ;D ;D ;D

mind you buying three out of the four that the antics stand had was a sensible idea on several counts. i need two of these for the valiant conversion i have planned and was telling kit all about,  ;) and the hose drum unit will come in handy for upgrades for the victor HDU.

however, i also bought....

that jim chapman designed 3 sqn decal sheets. what fantastic value for £18. OGL has suggested a 'what if 3 sqn' line-up to wind him up!
matchbox 1/72 halifax
italeri 1/72 TB-58 boomerang
various bits of resin and decal sheets

Two conversion sets from A2zee by Rotorcraft for the Lynx, the AH.1 and HAS 2/3 sets in 1/48.

Found one drawback to the sets, they don't have the older type tail rotor included, hmm some scratchbuilding is called for.. ;)
