1 x 1/72 Submarine Swift fuel tank

Is that going to be a model of one that's crashed in the sea then?  ;D

I should have sean that one coming.

Should have been Supermarine Swift

Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

I got the Italeri, 1/72 scale MQ-9 Reaper kit.
However when I got home and had a look at the contents it was the 1/48 scale kit. The box said 1/72, the instruction sheet said 1/72, and the transfer sheet is 1/72, but the plastic shure as He11 is not.
I gave the shop a phone call and there is no problems there.
So all I am saying is if you are buying this Italeri kit, check it before you pay.

Jim

Italeri don't do a 1/48 MQ-9 Reaper (if they do, it's not visible online). You do realise it's a rather big aircraft?
36ft long, 66ft wingspan which I guess to be 6 inches by 11 inches in 1/72 scale.

Ah, but Kinetic do, and Italeri have reboxed several Kinetic kits.

if you can find it, get the Skunkworks boxing of the kit. For the same price as the Italeri boxing you get two kits instead.

and now I must eat humble pie, as having checked the measurements Nick is correct and the kit is definitely 1/72 scale.
I just did not realise just how much larger the Reaper (Predator B) was than the Predator A.

;D hows the pie tasting Jim?

Mmmmn, Pie!

Was tempted by some Scotch pies from Morrisons when I did my shopping earlier (but forgot the Weetabix - d'oh!) and had one for lunch.  Wished I hadn't.  Bland and tasteless.

Realy Lee, what do you expect buying from an english supermarket. You surely do not think that the best would be exported South of the border.

OK what's a Scotch pie....meat, potatoe ? Hot, Cold ?

Can't beat a really good steak and kidney pie from "Piemaster" although their lamb one is very good. Favourite pork pies are from the "Pie Man" in Borough Market...superb

Any way back on subject. Added another Airfix Spitfire 22 to the stash, it looked all forlorn and lonely sitting there on the shelf  :-X
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I'm going to see if I can use some of the spare bits from the Special Hobby F21 on the Airfix 22 - mainly that sting section of the rudder and the contraprop.

Given that the fit of the F21 seems lightyears better than the vile Xtrakit F22, I may have to get one or two more - if only for the spares.  It's also made me think about having another bash at the Xtrakit 22 - there's a set of short cannon barrels for the F24/FR47 so I may try to do one as an F24 instead.
