Finally managed to get a 1/6 resin Alita Fallen Angel kit and for only 25 quid with free post.
I think the guys descrption on ebay of the kit scared a few people off.
"The kit will come in many parts and won't be accurate fit together like the jigsaw puzzle. The resin part's surface need to be sanded and filled with putty epoxy in some area which have bubbles and at the joints between parts as well. Some parts need to be straight or reshaped by heating and must be glue together with epoxy glue as well."
After all it is a resin kit.  ;D

wife just gave me a tamiya beaufighter X in 1/48th and a airfix GR3 harrier in 1/48th

Have you checked where she keeps her shoes for any new additions ?  ;D

Nearly succumbed yesterday in my local MZ and bought the Italeri Sunderland but held firm and got a couple of Airfix Spitfire 22's instead. Got a couple of ideas for post war foreign operators - Polish and Dutch. Although the Dutch one may be wartime on the assumption that they replaced RAF roundels with Dutch ones for the Squadrons flight into a newly liberated Schipol.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Picked up quite a bit recently. I got the new Revell/ICM Spit XVI for a RAuxAF plane in Korea, and succumbed to a Revell 1/32 Mig-29UB/GT it's a Christmas/Jule prezzy to myself.

And you've never seen fuselage sidewalls as thick!  If scaled up to 1:1 scale, it could easily stop tank shells!

Blimey, won over the weekend on eBay!!

Scrapyard of die-cast and plastic 1/24-1/25 car parts

1/48 Monograme B-29 painted, but not assembled (problems with the paint finish).
1/72 Hunter trainer, F-111 and a Convair FB-58 (converted into a fighter) built and painted.
1/48 RF-4 C/E photo phantom
1/72 RC-135V
1/72 Airfix Avro Vulcan B2
1/72 Airfix Sherwood Castle kit
oo/ho Hornby inclined support piers

I've been after the 1/72 RC-135V for ages and I got the B-29 thrown in as well. In my stash I have the SB-29 resin conversion kit and the RC-135V will look good with CFM engines in RAF colours.
The FB-58 will be converted into my version of the Convair King Fish, with parts from an Airfix F-117.
As to the Vulcan, the cockpit area will be flatterned, vertical tail removed. Glazing moved to the front, looking more like the Northrop B-2. Might droop the wing tips in the downwards position.

Howard of Effingham

all i got from the brampton show was......

one pot of mr color matt clear varnish
C-Scale buccaneer maritime strike set
Keeper of George the Cat.

The Wooksta!

From the LHS:
