Forgot to mention I now have a Zvezda Sukhoi T-50, courtesy of Trev at the Brampton show.

Does anyone know the difference between this and the 1/72 Revell release, apart from Revell having 2 more parts in theirs?

Just the decal quality its the Zvezda kit reboxed by Revell, the new HobbyBoss T-50 should be a different kit, although like the earlier kit the weapons bays are closed.

Dragon 1:35 BEF, France 1940. Three squaddies and an officer type with long coats, Lee-Enfields and a Vickers water-cooled machine gun. Just the thing. Hoping there's more early-war British stuff to come. Also hoping I can get it at 30% less than the RRP like I did these!
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

Was it the Soviet Spitfire thread in Current & Finished Projects? That referred to the most recent boxing of the Airfix Mk.Vc. This boxing (A02040, "Made in India", "Supermarine Spitfire" all in yellow) restored the original canopy and also provided the parts necessary to convert the kit to a Seafire IIc. This is not mentioned anywhere on the box or instructions and is presumably a result of the mould having been modified for the Airfix Club Seafire kit. The older boxing is 02040, is "Made in France & China", has "Supermarine" in black, and has no Seafire parts and two rather blobby canopies.

Captain Canada

Yes...that's exactly what I was after ! Thanks. Already called the LHS and asked him to pull the all yellow wording one from the shelf for. Sheesh....would you guys quit talking about Spitfires already !

Nearly picked these up but I needed them without the greatcoats for a mildly whiffy scenario.  I've had great problems finding 1/35 early war British troops that fit with my plans, Tamiya do a patrolling set but I really need them in action poses.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Talking of Spitfires, my first kit I ever built was of one. Its very rough with lots of gaps and only the front windscreen and lots of gluey fingerprints.  Serial codes are YT.L P7665. I am guessing its an Airfix kit given it was built around 69 - 71. Anyone know which kit it would be and its availability?
Since then Ive gone to the dark side but would love to know.
