With it came a white metal Spitfire F12 conversion but I've never seen it before.

Now that rings bells. Yonks ago I remember seeing some of them on a stand at a previous IPMS Nats, I think at Donnington, and when I went back to buy one they'd all ben snapped up. I never  saw an advert or a review of that conversion anywhere, nice to know they're still around and I'll be interested to read what you think of it.

The Wooksta!

It may just have been on of those ultra rare things that some odd bloke does and then they promptly vanish.  It's one I've never even heard of.  Looks nice though, although  I'm not sure what kit it's intended for, probably the Airfix Vb

Aslso nabbed a weird Hungarian thing that looks like a cross between an He 112 and a Boomerang,

MAVAG Heja? Licence-build Reggiane Re.2000, basically.

No, definitely not one of those.  As I say, He 112 wings with what looks like a Boomerang fuselage.  Nice kit and i'm thinking RAF markings in Italy, being one of those captured aircraft impressed into service,.  Failing that, Air Min markings at Farnborough.

AFAIK you're exactly right there, at that time the Vb was the best Spitfire you could buy and my own Mk XII used that fuselage/wing as a basis. They had a part-built, but unpainted model on the stand, and you could see where the white metal bits replaced the plastic.

The WM.23 Silver Arrow? I say it's a Heinkel 112B which is roughly the same airframe as the standard Heinkel 112 but with a radial engine and intended to be license built in Hungary.

According to the kit list which was sent to me in February, there should be by now a Grumman Mallard G-73 and a Martin XB-51 in 1/72 scale too, Geoff.  The CL-28 and C-102 are new to the list.  Some items have dropped off the list while there's a few new ones added. I'll see if I can find the older kit list that was sent to me a couple of years ago and compare them.
