The truth is out there Brother Wooksta ! What a beauty...the hardest part is going to be deciding what to do with it ! I'd really like to whif a RCN bird with a contrs-prop, but have always wanted a collection of A to Z real life Spits on my shelf....

You've all the bits to do a Seafire 45 in the box bar the decals.  Snag is the contra prop diameter is a bit small.  The AZ one is better in that regard but is inferior to the Special hobby one.  Only trial fitted bits of the 21 so far but no real headaches.

I think MPM/Special Hobby did some thinking on the master patterns after the Xtrakit 22.

A Lightning F6 arrived via Royal Mail (good thing it wasn't a spray can....) from pyro-manic today.

As the plastic bits were boxless in a plastic bag, I was SERIOUSLY impressed by the superb job of boxing up that pyro did, thanks VERY much.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Hidden away in a corner at Modelzone Lakeside was a lonely Trumpeter kit of the 1/72 Chinese FC-1 Prototype, also known as the JF-17.
Knocked down to £10 from £16 and it has several whiff possibilities....

I can't stand getting a kit in the post that's been squashed somewhere en route. So I always err on the side of "bombproof" if possible. ;D
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

Had some fun at the Local Club meeting tonight. We had our "Flea Market" where everyone was trying to clean out some of their stash. Managed to bring home a box of 1/72 models at less than $3 apiece. Some great WHIFF fodder as well as some real world stuff.

WHIFF Stuff
Airfix B-25
PM Spifire Vb Floatplane
Hasegawa F-15 Eagle
Revell He-100D
Airfix Buccanner NA.59
Lindberg Me-410 (missing clear parts, but I can always make it the bubble canopy version
Monogram F7F (also missing clear parts, but I think a Mustang canopy would look good on this one)
unidentified Spitfire (also missing canopy)
We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.
