thanks fellows and here she is with the masking removed
I used the sharpened sprue (pictured) technique to paint the blotches--they look okay.. some are smaller than others and some are a little too circular for my liking, but it's all good practice
as you can see a little piece of the yellow near the fuselage has flaked off--not sure what to do about this--may mask and spray or may reach for the paint brush
still, she's looking okay even if I say so myself
