I didn't talk much about this one, but here it is..just for fun I deliberately put the undecarriage linkage on upside down and cemented the wheels without any toe-in

Real-World Truth: A Focke-wulf Fw-190 A-5 was indeed in Japanese hands, and the Allies code-named it "Fred". There is a picture of it, with Hinomaru, on P. 55 of Robert Mikesh's "Japanese Aircraft Code Names and Designations"

Thanks fellow--I'm particularly pleased about the yellow nose ring which I painted first and then jammed into position.....
I also went to town with a silver eye-liner pencil to replicate brutal weathering
The red nose is Xtracrylix RLM red, but I think it looks a little too pinkish...
