Ahah, someone else using a Mistel 5 trolley for a take-off device.

Might even build it as a "proper" Mistel, either with the Arado flying bomb or something of my own design, I was thinking. We'll see how it goes as I'm not one to follow any set plans

Tophe

I had never seen such an aircraft nose, thanks to enrich the sad World outside of our minds...  ;D

It looks very aggressive just sitting there I'd say it looks like a Focke product

Love it.

One of the options I'm contemplating:

on top of a He.219-based bomb.
Also thinking of puting the... (I still haven't got a name for the plane. Any ideas?) on top of a Ar234C where the Arado is a bomber and the ... functions as a parasite fighter or something?

PR19_Kit

As the 'fuselage' started with a P-38 boom it ought to have 'Blitz' in the name somewhere.

A 'BlitzenJager' perhaps? With profuse aplogies to our German members of course.  ;D

I do not know why but the original concept reminds me strangely this. ;D

Looking good - the down-turned wingtips are a nice touch..

A question: is it jet or prop-powered? If it's jet then where's the jetpipe? If it's prop, then that 262 intake would make a mighty-fine turbo-prop intake-cum spinner in the style that the Germans were really considering...

Jetpipe? What jetpipe? Focke just went back to the drawingboard with one of their earlier designs for a jetfighter, the Fw190-TL:

(Pics borrowed from the internet man. He said it was okay.)

Soooooo....from now on we shall call ze mystery plane the Fw290-TL BlitzSegler, then (thanks for tip, PR19_Kit!)!

PR19_Kit

BlitzSegler, I like it! Looking forward to the finished article.
