Thanks for all the comments from my FaceBook page mobile photos .The builds that I am working on will look much better in the painting stage and I will be able to upload onto this site

McColm

Griffo  engines found on a rumage ,that means the EC-130V  Mad Hatter now has four Griffon engines the outer ones that house the Viper turbo jet not used by the RAF Shackletons .

Good news managed to convert the Airfix B-29 wings to accept Griffon engines .Full set, I will add resin wheels to the landing gear .

The built Airfix Short Sunderland will get the Griffon treatment as well .Plus aftermarket kits.

Now that I have my modelling mojo back, I am concentrating on three builds all in 1/72 scale.

I was only wondering where you'd gone yesterday - glad you got your Mo Jo back

I'll ask one of the guys that work at my local internet cafe to show me how to paste pics onto this site on Monday.

You'll need to have them on a hosting site, like Photobucket. Others are available.

You hoping to get to Hendon this year ?

Yes,
I hope to exhibit my built models.
Still need the link to this site,I tried the right click with the mouse but couldn't paste from FaceBook
I did get a reply on Facebook and will tag the new pics.
Went to The Making of Harry Potter - Pets Corner. It was a bitter disappointment they only had Hedwig, Scanners, Trevor, a six week old boarhound (Fang junior), a kitten and a seven foot python. Couldn't touch the animals. You can take your wand to practice your spells, the shop is still expensive.

Took a look on Facecrack.....you got some nice stuff going on there !

Well the Mach2 Vickers Valiant is living up to its reputation, too many faulty parts. So I've added the wings from the Airfix BAe Nimrod. That superglue really works, slight problem the wings curve upwards and without major surgery, I'll have to graft a new undercarriage into the lower fuselage. There is a major gap in joining the two halves together. A raid in the spares box has given me an idea and I have  lumps & bumps that can cover the gaps. You can see a lot of detail through the glazing, so I have added decals from other kits.

Work continues in filler and sanding the other builds.
Been on FaceBook to label the new pics.

Captain Canada

Sounds like so much work that maybe you should have binned it and bought the Airfix kit !

I always thought that the Valiant would make a good alternative to the Nimrod. I might just get the Airfix kit.

Captain Canada

It's gorgeous ! The Airfix kit that is. Be nice to see one or two built up on here !

Got another idea for a B-29 or B-50. A solid nose with a fighter style cockpit above the fuselage. The resin E-18 resin fits, but I will extend the nose section so the landing gear doesn't get fouled up. My versionof the Republic RC-2 Rainbow can be built using a Heller Lockheed Constellation and a single tail fin.Could use the EC-121 kit leaving the Super G for the tanker.
Need to get more shelving, filler and a small drill.
