The third build has parts from the Mach2 Valiant mixed with the wings from the Anigrand Martin SeaMaster........

Yikes sounding pricey!  Good luck.

Got the Valiant from a garage sale, a few of the parts were missing.

My first attempt to build an amphibious AEW aircraft was based around an Airfix
C-130 E/H. This was already built but was damaged. I added the wings & twin booms from a C-119. Reglued the vertical tail and added a Rotodome rotodome from a E-2 Hawkeye. Instead of the landing gear I used the skirt from the Airfix 1/144 hovercraft.

The second attempt was the Airfix Bristol Superfreighter with the Mach2 Grumman
E-1B radome, Matchbox Stranner flying boat.

The third build was the Sea Victor, using the Matchbox kit with the hull from the Shinmeiwa amphibious PS-2 and the resin radomes from the Cammett BAe Nimrod.

I think my fourth build is closer to my initial plan. I've used the Mach2 Martin Mariner and replaced the engines with two TF-33s with the tail exhaust from the B-47 . Two sponsors from the Italeri MH-53E are glued to the fuselage. The floats are glued to the wingtips with two ESM pods. Above the cockpit is one half of a fuel tank. The radome from the Avro Shackateer will be fitted.

My attempt to build a Rotodyne from my spare parts bin is on track.
I changed the tail to the Hawkeye as it is a better fit. Might keep the AER LINGUS colour scheme and get the matching gloss paint as most of the F-27 fuselage and wings are still intact.
The EB-57K Canberra AEW has gained an upper crew compartment along the fuselage. Just have to paint some windows in.
2017 should be an interesting year with all these finished builds.

Good to hear/read, will it keep all four Hawkeye fins?
Yes, there's enough clearance with the rotor blades in situ.

The Avro Shackateer is slowly being improved on a weekly basis. I've managed to install the AN/APY-1 radar and pylons from the Heller Boeing E-3A Sentry. It's a different approach to the conventional layout. I came across some Canadian decals for the C-130 and thought these will look good on the matt grey paint I have used.

The Martin Marina looks completely different with the Grumman E-1B teardrop antenna.
The RVHP 1/72 Grumman Greyhound now has four turboprops. Thinking more of a tanker or EW . Could be a EKC-4 Skye Hound!

If you go on Captain Canada's facebook page you will see a load of pictures of my current builds and a few started builds. They are in various stages from the nearly finished to the just got an idea.
I hope that you like them!

Roger and Wilco!  I'd have to have the particulars though as searching for "Captain Canada" yields tons of things. I tried adding the T name I've seen mentioned around here before but that was no dice as well.

For crying out loud either sort your own picture hosting site out, as everybody else does or link to your own Facebook Album which cannot be viewed by non-facebook forum members. Its one thing to ask Capn to load them up for you but its not fair to suggest looking on his Facebook page and worse to quote his name to look for without asking permission first !!!!!.

Wait, did I miss something?  I see no name quoted here? Post removed I assume?  I'm sure McC intended no malice....

I've contacted Captain Canada who is touring the USA at the moment and explained the situation. There was no malice intended.
I did up load a photo onto my blog but for the life of me I can't remember how I did it. I know that asking for help can be embarrassing or even humbling but to the giver it is rewarding in it's self.

Onwards and upwards
The Shackleton and the Dakota are not compatible, however the Boeing B-17F could be made into a twin engined version. I did see a picture of a real B-17 with the outer engine missing on the left wing whilst the right wing had both engines.
I'm still looking for a civilian airline conversion for the B-17. Another idea is a turbofan powered option.
The Russian Tu-2 bomber throws up many options as the design team kept changing the layout and engines.

Steven, just do a search on this forum of how to post pictures.  Here is one thread: http://www.whatifmodellers.com/index.php/topic,32096.0.html

Pick a free photo posting site and you are a few clicks away.  I use Photobucket and have no issues.  If I could figure it out so can you.   If you can use this forum and facebook you can do it.  I recall you not having easy access to a computer before, but I see you post photos to facebook so I surmise you must have a smartphone.  You can do it from a smartphone.   You post a lot, and have many builds going on, so think its time to jump on board my friend.
