Yeah.     Personally, I use imgur because it's so easy for pic dummies like myself to upload (there's multiple ways, all easy) and you can do things like pre-select sizing (one click) to make sure they all upload the right size. For instance, the pics I take on my phone are all huge when I load them up directly so before I upload them to imgur, I click on the "15 inch moniter" option and they all come out the perfect size. Also, if you accidentally get a picture upside down or turned the wrong way (sometimes phones think they are upside down or turned) there is a really easy method for fixing that, as well, right in imgur. Also, when it comes time to post the pics here, there's already a list of links that merely need to be copied (ctrl-c) then pasted here. I always use the "direct link" one. Then all ya got ta do is when you go to make a post here, click on the little button with the "painting" on it and paste (ctrl-v) the link inside the tags that pop up after clicking said button.

I'm not saying it is better or worse than Photobucket or Flickr... it's just that I'm familiar with it and the learning curve was small and is another option to consider.

Now...... my picture taking skills themselves?!  Aye yie yie...   ;D ;D

A tale of two Martin SeaMasters, the story continues.
The Anigrand kit takes the name of the Avro Sentinel AEW1, whereas the Mach2 kit renamed the  Martin SeaMstress. It has the tail fin taken from the Airfix Vulcan kit and now supports a T-tail with the leftovers from the Anigrand kit. The wingtip floats are in place. I'm going to add a rear jet exhaust pipe to the rear. The Trident tail didn't look right. I'm going for a civilian combo look. The new windows will be stenciled in along the fuselage with cargo doors.

The Valican ; Mach2 Valiant fuselage, Vulcan wings without engines and vertical tail fin. Lockheed WV-2 radome and stand for trails with the E-3 Sentry antenna. Same radar carried on the Avro Shackateer. The engines will look similar to the proposal by McDonnell Douglas P-9D. Carried on the rear fuselage on pylons.
I've started to black out some of the aircraft canopies in readiness for painting.

I'm sure like most people who buy Mach2 kits the intention is to whiff it instead of building the model.
I've always thought that the Avro Shackleton should have followed in the footsteps of the Lancaster as a testbed. Getting engines to fit is a bit of a challenge. I think that I have an idea for the B-45 Tornado engines combined with the Griffon inner engine on the Shackleton.
The new Revell kit has plenty of cockpit details, so this could be the basis for a test or jet powered Shackleton. This will have to wait, as I need to finish off all my other projects first.

Jet powered Shackleton sounds pretty cool to me!
I have tried to build this once before, but the parts were recycled to make way for the Avro Shackateer.

I couldn't sleep so I started hand painting using the Humbrol Matt 250 dark earth colour. Due to my painting style it looks as though the temporary paint has been applied over the previous paint scheme. This will need a bit of weathering and the windows added to the fuselage. A raid in the decals pile and additional antenna should see this finished.

I was rummaging through my various boxes of spare parts and came across two pairs of Airfix Avro Vulcan wings and the fuselage section of the Airfix BAe Nimrod. Although other Whiffers have tried to kitbash these two kits I think I have stumbled across something that resembles the Avro Type 722 Atlantic.
The Nimrod fuselage fits inside the Vulcan lower fuselage section. So you could have the front half of the Nimrod and rear section to blend in with the Vulcan fuselage and add the Vulcan wings to the BAe Nimrod .
