Wow the course has taken me back to a time when filling in a C.V. is still important today as it was then. It's format has changed. My computer skills are very rusty and my tablet takes ages to download, so I am using my mobile phone as it's quicker.
To relax in the evening I have started a jigsaw puzzle, it's 300 hundred pieces and the picture is of Hogwarts Castle which they say will glow in the dark. Tons of sky to do and those towers are a pain as well. When it's finished I will glue it to a board.
I'm going to need a bigger board!

There seems to be two pieces missing from the jigsaw puzzle, the tower on the right as all the remaining pieces are the sky and clouds.
I've started to pack up my things in anticipation of my move into a one bedroom flat in Charlton. I have to take this one otherwise the council will put me in the lower end of the housing list. That means a shared house, sharing the kitchen and garden. From what I have seen you either get a front room or the back room of a terraced house. Sometimes referred to as a workmen's cottage. They are tiny and have really steep staircases. The rent is roughly the same.
I'd never get the stash in one of those.

The CCTV course is like going back to my college days, learning everything about getting a job in the first two weeks. A lot has changed, format wise but the principles are the same.

It's been a rough couple of weeks,  Dad's motto 'spend it, you can't take it with you '. Yes the vultures have been getting together to see if James has left them anything in his will. I don't expect to get anything.

I  will keep you posted about the flat.

I went for my viewing of a one bedroom self contained flat/apartment today in Charlton close to the Railway Station. Yes I'm having this. It's a blank canvas,  apart from the cupboards in the kitchen and the sink, the bathroom has a bath no shower and a washbasin with toilet, the place is empty, devoid of all furnishings. There's plenty of storage space and the stairs are manageable, two flights no lift.
So it's a case of waiting for the paperwork and the locks to be changed.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Thanks Guys.
Reunited with the stash and I get to finish off my started builds.

I just had a brilliant idea, with all the packaging from moving into my new place. I will be able to recycle it and build my own interpretation of Hogwarts Castle using the 3D jigsaw puzzle as a guide. It will be part of my train set layout in 00gauge.
I just need to get a few ideas for the bedroom and lounge.

I have come to a decision about my Free2learn CCTV course,  my fingers cramp up when I do the course work. Which gives me an agonising pain. So  I have called it a day.
I hope after a few home visits from the Greenwich Physiotherapy Team I can reapply next year.
I have been painting the Sikorsky UH-71 Kestrel or should that be the
EH-101 Merlin AH.1. The Hataka acrylic Light Stone has been brushed on in layers. Certain parts do look weathered. I will let it dry overnight.
A few ideas;
If you added the wings, engines and landing gear from the Airfix Avro Shackleton onto an Airfix Lancaster then added the Avro Lincoln nose glazing and twin tail fins. Would it be an Avro Leicester?
Then there's adding the remaining parts to the Shackleton.

Here's my 1/48 Hurricane tribute to the fallen.

I have added a few more pictures to my ' what I started and haven't finished yet ' Current and finished builds.
There's 8-12 week waiting list for home physiotherapy visits in Greenwich and I have been doing a bit of research on pulmonary embolism. There's some help support groups but none for anyone who's had four. The aches and pains that I am going through is normal, usual recovery is between 6-8 months for one. Multiply that by four and I have along way to go.
On a positive note,  I have been looking for essential items for moving into my new Council flat . Still my furniture restoration skills will be useful and there's a D.I.Y. warehouse across the road.

I've had three PE's, and not to rain on your parade, but the recovery (if properly medicated) is 6–8 months AFTER THE LAST ONE. You don't need to multiply anything at all. I hope this cheers you up a bit.
Also, I would reckon the groups you've been eying up would do fine. One or four PE's - it's the same way back, albeit with a slightly worse starting point if you're a multi patient.

Speaking of fine - that is a fine Hurricane!
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!

Neat Hurricane
I think that this is the 1/48 Airfix Hurricane with nail decals and poppy stickers. My intention was to spray clear gloss over the model but one of my workmates wanted it.

Hi Guys,  there's a slight delay due to the Covid-19 issues at the Greenwich Housing Department so my moving in to my new place will probably be mid December.
I will continue to pack away my completed builds and crack on with the started ones. That's the EH-101 AH.1 Helicopter Gunship/ Sikorsky UH-71 Kestrel,  Boeing AV-22 Osprey, Be-200 ,and the kitbash Chinodyne.
More ideas for future builds include a Griffon powered Dakota. I will be experimenting with resin moulds. Getting the T56 turboprop engine to fit in the place of a radial engine without having to do any major surgery to the wings.
