Have been a bit slack over the past few months.  All these ambitious projects, but then other "things" get in the way!  I have managed to get some decals onto the thunderbolt, as well as stripping back the Bucc, an old hornet and a P-40.

The word "Viggen" in Swedish is definite form for thunderbolt as in the electrical flash. Not the sound. Originally, the name was "Åskviggen", being a more full translation of Thunderbolt and originating in the weapon of the old norse god Thor, whose hammer, Mjölnir, when thrown over the sky created a light show of awe. Accordingly, the later three aboriginal words might be more appropriate as they describe the same phenomenon.

Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!

'Maloo'?

Isn't that the name of a V8 Holden pickup? It's sold in the UK under the Vauxhall label too.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
