Binned?

You're surely not going to throw them away, are you?  :banghead:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I still plan a retort to that Mersey Free State Corsair one day.... ;D

Off to join the great bin in the loft.Dont want to send anyone into trauma by actually binning them. Who knows one day theyll be stripped down and re built,or be used for spares. I doubt it will be in this lifetime. ;D

One bonus was I found two unbuilt Hasegawa Me109s ,a Matchbox Helldiver (yellow wing) and joy of joy a Hasegawa Voodoo.

These "real world" old warriors are joining them.

I hope you will merely shove them "aside" and not trash them. I have a "Bin" of old models that I use as "experimental" aircraft for trying new techniques or camo schemes. Some of my "painting dummies" have ten layers of paint on them! They certainly would take up less room when "binned", but they would not be destroyed.

When I last moved I took fifty or so models to the dump and trashed them---VERY traumatic for me. But some of the dump workers salvaged some for their kids!!
My mind is like a compost heap: both "fertile" and "rotten"!

It's really hard for me to part with something I've spent a lot of time and effort on.  Especially if it turned out well.  Of course when we were kids my brother and I blew up quite a few.

You are so right. But in the end although they feel like your children they are are just bits of plastic. It takes me years to "dump" models, in the end they just have to go. Otherwise I will never build anything new. That said most of the stuff that is dumped(into my own AMMARC) ends up stripped down for parts or stripped and re built......................albeit eventually.
