Any man who builds the old Hawk Spit 22 deserves a medal, let alone who gives it such a SUPERB paint finish!  :bow: :bow:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

the paint job was meant to be silver & blue like the S6B but I ran out of silver, as did my local shop....so its a happy accident how it turned out.

Decided to do a 1946 Schneider Trophy What-If set after doing the Spit Mk22 version & a post from TimJ ( heads up :thumb:)
This includes aircraft of the world in the Single Piston Engine category (going to have a go at Jets another time)
Max 3 entrants per country
Aircraft so far:
GB : Supermarine Spitfire Mk22
      Hawker Tempest
US : P51D Mustang
    : Corsair
West Germany : FW190D (needs painting)
Italy : Fiat G.56 (awaiting kit in post)
