Yes, the PZL.42 was a derived prototype of the PZL.23 Karas, main difference is the H-tail and bottom gondola, but I am finding conflicting information if it was completely removed or retractable. Someone more familiar on the topic can chime in!

Good eye, the modeller indeed used the M6A floats. Today I learned that the land-based version was Nanzan and the floatplane version Seiran.

The dude did a great job with the boundary markers ..it is screaming out for a wee bit more highlights but still very nice 👍
