Yes she does, but what is that silly vehicle doing behind her.

Just stumbled across this beauty...

Really like the idea, and it's simple to realize, too!

American SAAB J.21? Nice...
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

Dizzyfugu

The marking look a bit post WWII - but I like the overall idea! I might give it a try, I especially like the NMF finish on the Saab, suits the aircraft pretty well. Maybe with some colorful USAF Pacific theatre markings...? Could be the aircraft that eventually made it into service when XP-54, 55 and 56 failed for several reasons!?

Gondor

I have a SAAB J21 slowly being built to be an American aircraft, different finish though

Very pretty!

Another option might be to do one in RAF markings with the exhausts higher (indicating a Merlin) and 12 x .303 Brownings in the nose: there was a Gloster proposal to F18/37 that was pretty much like that.

A nice whif based on the premise that the German reunification had gone the other way round: http://www.modellversium.de/galerie/22-militaer-fahrzeuge/11151-leopard-2a5-revell.html

I have to admit, I have always loved the NVA 3-color camo with that frosty gray.  Lovely.

Cheers,

I see what you mean Logan, it looks superb doesn't it!

Funny thing is that these are almost the same colors as the German Bundeswehr used - just with different names! The green is called Olivgrün 2425 (the same as RAL 6003 Olivgrün), the Black is a very dark grey (Schwarzgrau 2042 = RAL 7021 Schwarzgrau) and the Western brown (RAL 8027 Lederbraun) was replaced by a tone called "Dämmergrau 2403", which is close to Western RAL 7000 Grau.

But why I actually opened this post: just found THIS in a creative forum in the Ukraine where obviously some of my Soviet creations (after the Yak-35 now the Mi-62, too!) found new friends, and I stumbled across THIS :

Reminds me of my Japanese Ki-121 "Shoufou" pusher whif, but this thing is more modern and larger - but I like the concept and the schemes!

BTW: in the context of "my" Mi-62, THIS here was posted (http://alternathistory.org.ua/alternativnyi-shturmovoi-vertolet-mi-62-rossiya), too...

Not certain if THIS has already been posted here? Stumbled across this creation on FlickR:

I like the paint on the Leopard !

The Transall Herc Helicopter thing looks pretty good too !

Not sure about the flying German shed tho....neat but weird.

This one here popped up on FlickR as a response to my recent "XP-47H-wth-bubble-canopy" build, created by modeler and illustrator FrancLab from Canada:
