Great images - love the camo.  Looks like the salt technique to get that peeled or worn paint effect.

I'd guess it's more likely to be the hairspray technique.

I haven't tried it myself, yet, but the effect looks more like this on large areas.

Nice work but, that exhaust position is just a might bit too close to the pilot's head. Rather... inhibiting... that.
