Sorry not sure what FD means ?
Chris

well, to be truthful no-one knows what "FD" stands for ! ;D
ShipBucket drawings (SB scale) are to a scale of 2 pixels to 1 foot.  ShipBucket's FD scale is 22.093 pixels to 1 meter.  Both scales are really too small for aircraft & tanks, "accurate" scaling is almost impossible, but its an enjoyable challenge to draw something that looks like the real thing with passable detail.  I've mostly done real vehicles but also several whifs.

The SB guys seem to get caught up in enforcing the size of the blank page you start with, black outlines to everything even when inappropiate etc rather than the design or the art.

you may as well all give up -- the truth is much stranger than fiction.

I'd love to have a go but having spent a significant amount of time on there admiring the work as well as looking for ship profiles for my alt history, some of the people on there seem to be, quite frankly, rude (sometimes, quite insulting to people). I know some things might be lost in translation, but those who seem to be the worse have English as their mother tongue.

agreed, seems quite a few people post there once or twice & then leave .. appears to be a need for an alternative site that caters for that stuff.

at first I thought they were by Spinner - would like to see this type from better angles.

Any interest here for FD scale armour profiles ?  the "moderators" on Shipbucket are too anal for my liking :-\
I am one of those moderators. And we are not anal, just strict, we have a set of rules, period.

I love the sign, "be prepared", Most of the stuff you would need to "be prepared" would get you arrested!!

Nice Skydiver!

Pity about the grey. ;)

The VW could do with some proper anti-zombie weapons - missiles wont do much, a few lost limbs & some shrapnel wounds (which wont stop a Z), & the (flamethrower?) would be more distressing to the driver than the Z's, who will just become flaming Z's as they rip your Beetle apart & pull you out to eat you.

Good looking build, though. <_<

Can see it now - good find!

Yes it does look good. Has he produced any info on how it works, i.e. what the separation of the sub and plane looks like?
