That Emirates bird looks awesome ! Man I'd love to see ( and hear ! ) one of those fly by.

Yeah, that aircraft would look good in anything!

The Tu-114 is ALWAYS beautiful!
And the RoKAF Do-335 is intriguing. Not bad at all in NMF. I had missed it when posted.
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

Would the tail and the engines remain attached to the airframe? I suspect not.

I know, it'd be a 'one-shot' wonder....but think what it'd do to the target!  :o

The quad engine layout on that A-10 is just inspired!

Seeing the little turret at the tail... has anyone thought about scale-orama'ing a 1/48 A-10 into a 1/72 medium bomber? Or, given the size of that thing (the A-10 is about as long as a B-25!), probably more of a heavy bomber? Side-by-side cockpit, engines as per this night-fighter whif, tail gunner (B-25-style), turret on top of the fuselage, depending on scale either a B-25-style gun nose or, if it's to be bigger, even a nose turret,....
Cheers,
Moritz

I propose a tail gunner laying down and a lot of framing on the canopy to make it look more German.

From Greece, AFAIK...

Just awesome!

I'm figuring that my visualised cockpit may be too wide in the same scale (although I don't know for sure), so what about a 1/48th A-10 scale-o-rama'd to 1/72nd, with a 1/72nd Ju.188 cockpit? If it doesn't need to be scale-o-rama'd, even better!

From the Ju.188 cockpit: Delete the ventral gun & gunner's position, delete the cockpit-rear dorsal & nose guns, make the upper turret a remote station (like the rear turret on the above) &, perhaps, move it to just behind the cockpit. The radar can be fitted to either side of the cockpit. Crew can consist of; pilot, bomb-aimer, engineer-gunner & R/O-gunner.

Edit: Oh, & maybe flip the tail turret to under the tail, rather than above ('coz that'd be covered by the dorsal turret).

Either that or fit the He.219 cockpit with pilot & R/O-gunner, which could probably work in the same scale (1/48-1/48, 1/72-1/72, etc.).
