I love that TSR2, it's spectacular...

There's a very similar Gulf War TSR2 (in 1/48) been appearing on the Gulf War SIG's stand at recent shows. The darn thing look SO plausible that your glance just washes right over them!  :o

Love the Eagle....pretty funny story to start it all as well. Lovely little profile of the Hornet at the bottom of the photo strip as well. But, is it just me or does the Sea King on deck say FOOL NAVY on the boom ? A little joke perhaps ?

Didn't our own Army of One do an IDF A-10 in 1/144 a little while ago?

You can't help but wonder why it didn't happen in the RW.

I've been sniffing around on the Finescale Modeller forum.
What's with all the "campaign medals" some of them seem to award themselves?

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

That is absolutely gorgeous   . Short of a sales ban I've never understood why this photo isn't based on reality.

Love A-10s. Hate Far's work

Did we already have this CG creation?

"SS-4P Small Agile Battlefield Aircraft.
Though 'fictional', the SS-4P looks like some of the design studies performed by BAe in the early 1980's for a project known as SABA - Small Agile Battlefield Aircraft- a simple turboprop powered, conventional structure (aluminium) battlefield CAS/ anti-armour/ anti-helicopter aircraft armed with a 25mm gun, ASRAAM's and Hellfire/Brimstone missiles. "

I like it much!

Cracking looking device.

And it's 4 (AC) Sqdn. too.

I like it very much, too - especially the side-by-side seating. Maybe I find (another) Matchbox Provost, and I have Cessna O-2A without a plan in the stash... maybe both could be mixed to achieve "something like this"?

BTW: another one from the SABA family:

Actually, yes. The conceptual predecessors for the A-10 were similar, BTW.
