The Wooksta!

One of Lippisch early designs had endplate fins, so it's not as daft as it seems.

Came across this nice two engine Fairey Fulmar:

Found here: http://s373.photobucket.com/user/janissarius/media/World%20War%20II/FaireyFulmar.jpg.html

I like the sleek look, even though the artist somehow lost the radiators along the way...? Maybe in the ing roots, Mosquito-ish?

The Wooksta!

There was to have been a twin engined Battle, so it's not too much of a stretch.

Captain Canada

That's pretty neat. The side profile looks good but the top looks way too Beau.

Yes, the stubby nose is pretty Beaufighter-ish. But the concept is nice, even if there were radiators under the engines (Lancaster style).

PR19_Kit

Didn't our own Kitbasher build a Fulmar twin a while ago?

It was all  over black and appeared at a Telford a few years ago, VERY impressive.

Captain Canada

That would be cool to see, as I don't recall. Off to look !

Actually I think he converted a Battle to a twin, not a Fulmar sorry.

I couldn't find a way to copy a pic so i'll just leave the link to the finished pics page of the build thread on the Portuguese forum, Modelismo na Net. Just scroll down the page.

This guy is almost finishing another one, a Fokker Dr.I DD, of which i'll share the thread link too, once it's finished.

Weirdly attractive.
And similar in style to Loupgarou's Walrus swamp skimmer.
I like it a lot.  Got a Duck in the stash (who hasn't!).

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
