Yup, and there's no mention of a P-40 in the build thread.

It's an OOB build, no conversion. Just a whiffy paint scheme.

Okay, even though this isn't a P-40 nose on a 109 airframe, the idea of that sounds quite interesting. Could make for a cool conversion, regardless of which P-40 version's nose is used.

EDIT: Come to think of it - and vice versa. Emil or Gustaf nose on a P-40.....
Cheers,

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Is that a Kfir ? I don't see the Kinards

Are ya sure it ain't a Koak?
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

After Ukrainian/Georgian alternate history fans found interest in my FlickR galleries, Reddit from the USA now follows suit. Somebody already posted the MiG-33 (Single engine MiG-29) for discussion, and now a P6M SeaMaster discussion is fuelled by whiffy material of mine, too.

Wonder what's next. Maybe some Luft '46 stuff?

Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

Another of my builds (the Hü 324) in a different context, causing wet dreams, it seems...?

The Ukraine guys at alternathistory.com re-interpreted one of my builds (and the respective RW background), the Saab J 19B:

Wonder if the more recently built J 19D (the silver one with the Mustang engine/nose) will pop up there, too?
They also seem to have recognized that they are "under observation"... ;)

A nice "skin" for a well known a/c from the Airfix Tribute Forum:

More here.

The scheme suits the aircraft surprisingly well - Nice presentation of the Lightning. Would maybe even be better if the main wheels were semi-retracted, too? The lone nose wheel looks a bit lost under the nose?

Noice.
The only thing I'd change would be to use Sparrow missiles.

Dizzyfugu

Early models with the pointed nose should look good!

My thoughts as well and for some reason I think it looks better in the right hand pic ? Probably the slight reflections on the left hand pic ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Oh yeah that looks so right !
