[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

The Ukraine connection struck again, but this time not one of my whifs, but rather a build from TomZ (posted here some time ago, too):

Well, at least he made a reference to the original post.

Found one of my builds as reference in a Star Wars forum (the converted Venator Class cruise ship):

What worries me is that somebody "approved" it, or at least what the post's author made from it...?  :o

Dizzyfugu

Found this one, a movie prop, on FlickR, obviously taken from a book? Looks neat, though!

Another one of my whifs popped up at warthunder.com (the Ki-202, a modded Ta 183):

At least with source credits.

And another one (w/o credits):

Makes you wonder why the masses get so attracted by fictional aircraft?

I think you're the WHIF Star and your stuff "gets around" because it's so good!!

I would looooooove to hop into a Dizzy plane in Warthunder and fly it around.  ;D

Well, there's actually a Taiwanese Spitfire that actually made it from a model to a downloadable skin...

;D ;D ;D     That's great!!  What game?   Please tell me you went and played it and flew around in your own plane.  ;D ;D ;D

I have nothing to do with this digital remake, though, and not into computer games at all. But it's funny to imagine that someone is virtually flying around in one of my creations...

Here's the "original", BTW:

1:72 Supermarine Spitfire F Mk. 24, aircraft "65" (s/n 50-0751) of 21st FS, 4th FG, Chinese Nationalist Air Force (CNAF); Formosa, ca. 1952 (Whif/Special Hobby Boss kit)

That's the opposite way round to my CMC Leopard. I built the model from a virtual aircraft that I flew in FS9.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit
