Since I've been out of the hobby for a year or so I'm a bit out of date on new/future releases and was wondering if there are any injection molded EADS/Casa C295 kits in the works?  I cant find anything on The Googles, but wondered if the rumor mill might be churning.  It seems a popular aircraft that EADS are pushing all over the place.  Seems to me that a certain island nation suddenly without a dedicated Maritime Patrol aircraft could probably do with a dozen or so...
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

I'm not aware of anything other than the Broplan 1/72 Vacformed kit.

I wouldn't mind seeing a 295 in 1/144 injection form.

There is a Brazilian Resin kit available that might do the trick

Thanks Thorvic...I'm still very much a resin virgin when it comes to whole kits, but you gotta try it sometime I suppose.  I like the ATR-500MP they have too.

Theres a 72nd scale vac form from Broplan as well.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Size (of the stash) matters.

Is the Broplan kit a 295 or a 235?

I have the 235 and it's LOVELY, but it's a vacform of course. Mines destined for a RW IAC one in that wonderful dual blue scheme they have.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

If it's a good resin kit then it's no different to building an injection moulded one. Just different glue. Give it a go
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
