Looks superb now Nick, the colour really sets it off now. Love the nice touch of a US zap  :thumbsup:

It just looks so right!   :thumbsup:  You know I never noticed it before but in those colors, the Super E bears a striking resemblance to a F11F!  Think I know how to paint the one in the stash now  :mellow:

Guess I'm a bit late, now, but here are some pic's of VF-805 Skyhawks with their 2 main tail liveries. I would have thought the Knight (chess piece) against the red-&-white "checkerboard" would have looked good. ;)

I gave that some serious consideration but ended up feeling like the combination would look a bit too 'busy'.  At some point I may take the time to turn the red rudder into a red/white checkerboard though. 
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

That looks pretty cool.  It just looks "right" in those markings.
