Thought there was a thread for this ?

Anyway Sunday 19th Feb at the Huddersfield Sports Centre.

I'll be staying over on Saturday night, so visiting a few of the decent real ale pubs in the town with Steve  :cheers:

sorry wont be there this year as i am up to the neck in moveing home etc , see you all at the show on april 1

Been in-touch with the organisers (Geoff). There WILL be a 'What If' category in the competition this year - it was dropped last year - which I s'pose means once again General Melchett and I will be going head-to-head... can't wait !!

Dork has booked his release from the home for Slightly Used Seamen :wacko: so I s'pose that means he'll be joining in the party and regailing us with sailors stories this year.

That reminds me I went to the Huddersfield show one year,it was in the old days when kits were kits and IHG didnt believe his own publicity. ( Head to head with Melchett?   yea right).It was a dark and stormy day with a stiff breeze out of the NNE,we were sailing along ,close hauled on a starboard tack...........................................fade to black.
