first of Hello.. first post from me to this new forum
been looking around for some time. found this site after doing a search for "what if" kit builds
anyway heres one to start me of.. built from bits i found in the srcap box!

so the story goes somthing like this ;)
Back in the 70s the Rolls Royce needed an airframe to test there new generation of light waight, silent running turbo fans.
R R had been developing them as "retro fit" replacements for diffrent types of airframes with in the mod invantry.
HS-125, canberras, hunters and even the VC10s..
but thay needed  an airframe to test them on.. as there was a lot of surplus  NF-14 meteor and spares were plenitful, one was picked from storeage and modified
with the removel of its radar nose(as this would'nt be needed, and the fitment of a T-7 nose.. the rear seat was allso removed and filled with the test equipment  needed to record the noise level's the engine would be making. it was used for some years on test work before it was lost in a ground accident.

well thats how it might have been :halo:
knocked this one up from bits in my scrap box..
wings and fuselage from an old airfix F-1.. upper fuselage, canopy and tail from a matchbox NF-14.
and the engines from the old matchbox A-10 kit!!decals from the spare's box..
couple of hours here and there in the evenings.. and thats it done.. not the best i have done, but it passed the time ;)
hope you like.

so thats my entry in to the world of "what ifs" hope you like

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
