nice set OGL, lovely and inspiring
the things you learn, give your mind the wings to fly, and the chains to hold yourself steady
take off and nuke the site form orbit, nope, time for the real thing, CAM and gridfire, call special circumstances.

OGL, when I check your Photobucket links they always seize up after 18-20 pics and it stops responding completely.  :banghead:

Any ideas why that should be?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I thoroughly enjoyed it...!!! Quite a bit of interest in the models displayed....I think I'm gonna have to get me an Angel interceptor or two having seen the ones on display.....can honestly I've never built one.......H

Got a good JMN kill too. OGL was away from the stand when a bloke came up tutting and chunnering about "silly" and "wrong", but then he saw something that pushed him over the edge:

Him: "Now that's just so, OH! they'd never do that! What kind of fool thought that up?!!!"

Me: "which one?"

Him: "That, that thing there!", pointing to Martin's swing-wing Navy Lightning.

Me: "BAC."

Him: "What?"

Me: "BAC - it's a real project. BAC drew it up in the early 1960s when they were trying to persuade the RN to buy British rather than the Phantom."

I then waited patiently while he spluttered his way around to backing out of his previous position....

Him (eventually): "It would have been nightmare to land on a carrier!"

Me: "Probably - didn't say it was a good idea, just a real one...." (shrug)

One guy came along and carefully took about ten pictures of my single-seat Magister from every conceivable angle, but said absolutely nothing..... :unsure:

Yeap that happens and you get used to it, a good one when they start showing interest is to offer to move the model into a better position for them to photo as that can start a conversation either that or they act like a startled rabbit caught in the headlights stop dead still and scatter as quickly as possible.
