Hi, I'm an 18 year old digital modeller (applying for ADFA, but going to uni either way in 2013) who makes aircraft for a flight sim named YS Flight; a friend on here recommended I post my entry for a design competition here, while it's Aussierama.

So basically, this jet is a compilation (and literally made from parts) of:
An F-111C fuselage, up until the leading edges.
F-15C wings and elevators (the wingtips have also been drooped somewhat TSR.2 style, elevators were also slightly shortened).
F-16 tails, duplicated, scaled and fitted.
and an F/A-18A forward fuselage (inc. canopy and cockpit).

One 'novel' feature that I've included that makes it unique (besides the wingtips) is it's multi-role LEVCONs / intake ramps; which, at high angles of attack, rotate to increase laminar flow over the wing, and at high speeds, can be used to adjust the shape of the supersonic shock cone coming off the LERX (and therefore adjusting the Mach speed of air entering the intake).

The end result is supposed to be a relatively long range multi-role fighter that would better enable the defence of northern Australia from bases like RAAF Williamtown, etc - it would be somewhat like the F-111, except focused on air supremacy.

Also, ignore the designation; contest entries had some naming issues, so the judges created some alternative designation meanings:

(The paint is for the demonstrator, why it's engaged in combat is best left to the answer that it's a video game).

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Looks good.   Perhaps increase the vertical tails?  They look a little undersized for the length of the fuselage.
