I've never paid much attention to the whole Avro Arrow thing, but did have a 1/72 kit in the stash and decided on a whim to make it....

First, Wow, what a plane! Decades ahead of it's time. Having made one, I can see how it would have been awesome. What a tragedy.....

Secondly, I loved the Hobbycraft kit. Dead simple, excellent fit, and panel lines deep enough I actually got the whole inking thing to work(!). I'd completed the entire model in the time it took me to just to the Pheonix missiles on the F14 I was working on!

(Are all Hobbycraft kits like the Arrow? If so, I wouldn't mind doing a few more!)

The scheme is based in the Canadian F5A scheme, which I always thought was quite attractive. And special thanks must go to MilitaryAircraft101 who kindly supplied the Canadian rondels for the wings...

A Handsome beast!, and very well done too
reminds me of the big Fairey Delta.

Looks in book to find out that it was the  F.155T Delta III, (well thats what it says in the 'British secret projects, jet fighters since 1950' book)
which doesn't exactly cut it as a Fighter name does it?

Regards
Keith
The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

Thats nice , looks different in that type of camoflage
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Great Arrow, Paul. I like the look of it in the Vulcan pattern and twin seats. Quite a starship gallery too, very impressive...wasn't even aware there were kits of the chig fighters or were those scratchbuilds?

Just polished and futured. I figured in the production version, the navigator might like to see out the window :)

The Chiggy Von Richtofen was a scratchbuilt (and I'm quite proud of it too!), while the normal Chig fighter was a resin kit I got off ebay years ago....
