Arturo Navarro´s P-51D II. It is the only What if he has made, and I want to show you. I love this plane.

I do not think it is an Apache as it does not have the dive brakes.
However, what a gorgeous model

Cats are not real.
They are just physical manifestations of collisions between enigma & conundrum particles.

Any aircraft can be improved by giving it a SHARKMOUTH!

I like. Woulda been a "contendah" on Guadalcanal, etc., instead of the P-400 and old P-40's. Maybe "shoulda" been in "Flying Tigers" livery!!
My mind is like a compost heap: both "fertile" and "rotten"!

That's excellent, and the mix of 'old' and 'new'Mustangs works really well. The 'P' marking and the yellow undersides are the icing on the cake.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Devilfish

I like! Definately a "what would have been" had we not stepped in with a decent engine!

Makes you wonder, had it stuck with the Allison engine, would it have just been another "coulda beens"?

That looks so right.  A Koala Stamp for that!

My thoughts exactly - you reading my mind ? . Please pass our congratulations on to your friend
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I would suggest on the basis of that model, we should invite your friend to join us here!

Just a question to understand: what are the parts from P-51A? nose and wing roots? (the fin without extension was true on P-51D-5, as proposed on the Heller 1/72 P-51D)
