The What if? sig European tour 2013...............I like the sound of this lol

So are you wanting to join the raiding party then Kit? And offering wheels?

Of COURSE I am, what did you think I was writing about beforehand?  :o

A T-shirt with the 'UK WhatIf SIG European Tour 2013' would be good, and do-able by then too,

just checking

So a PR-19 could be landing on the wrong side of the Iron curtain. The chief of the air staff would have a fit LOL

Ah yes, hadn't thought of the 'security' implications.

I'll talk to them in 'higher places' and see if I can get clearance, we'll be out of the '30 year rule' window by then. That is IF the PR19b really did talk part in the Falklands 'event'...........  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Gawd, you Europeans & your fear of middle-distances  , I used to drive 1400 km each way on a weekend every couple of months just to get some home-(Mum)-cooked food when I was in the RAN! ;D

Go! Drive! Make a road-trip of it! :drink:

Just 'cos you guys have a BIG country there's no need to go all Colonial on us.  ;D

With the price of petrol (OK, LPG in my case) over here such trips need considerable planning, plus the traffic density is VASTLY more than you have. We measure ours in 'jams/mile' whereas yours is probably in 'roos/100 miles' isn't it?  ;D ;)

Oh yes, there's also the small matter of the busiest chunk of waterway in the whole world in the way too.........  :o

What if on Tour ? Don't forget we'd need space not only for stash increases but beer as well  :drink:

Sounds like I'll need to bolt my trailer hitch on to tow the beer!

Don't forget they INVENTED lager in Pilsen, I went there a couple of times, magic place where the restuarants have no idea about the phrase 'small helpings'. They also have the biggest Tescos in the world and they actually sell CARS there! It's on an old Czech AF airfield and some of the hangars are still there too.

Been there on business a few times myself, you need a lot of beer to quench your thirst after being in a steelworks all day
