Might as well go with your own camo scheme seeing as this is a totally new bird. SOAR (Special Operation AiR Wing) birds wear a muted two tone gray though.

Checked out the aircraft of the 1st Special Operations Wing.  Interesting dark/light grey combo.  Some what like the Marine C-130 pattern.  I'll have to look into some light grey decals.  Thanks for the tip!
I'll have to find the FS numbers.

The standard AFSOC two-tone gray scheme is FS36118 on the top and FS36293 on the undersides.

Were you thinking of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment at Ft. Campbell?
Its hard to find a decent picture of their helos.

Thanks, best site so far.  Hard to tell the colors or pattern on these aircraft.  It must be a very dark grey.  I'll keep looking.

I went with the TFR thimble type radome and a FLIR ball like the MH-60 and the army DAP.

Just touching up and a few more antenna and such.  I took pictures I will use to get an outline I can use in MS paint or photoshop to try out some different camo schemes.

I looked up the A-10 JAWS patterns from the 70s.  It used four colors with a base coat of green, tan or grey with spots and blotches of the other three colors.  Very unique.

Maybe combine it with the Air Force Special Ops pattern.

No need to rush, no deadline here.

The S-72 looked good in white with red trim but I'm going with something operational.  S-72 was experimental and this will be a butt kicker.

I removed the gun for the pics.  I want to try some photoshop first before committing to paint.
