Nope, on the eastern slope of the hills that lead down to the west bank of the River Severn, and I'm 175 ft above river level at high tide. But when it snows here the wind just drifts the stuff up against my door which makes life 'difficult'......
Always remember to store the snow shovel inside the house so you can literally dig your way out...

I did, and I will be doing just that later today. AFTER a big breakfast!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

Take your time. Always someone who has a heart attack shoveling snow.

Well I finally threw some paint on this beast!

Its three tone although the uppermost color is a little hard to see. Pactra aircraft grey on the sides and testors aircraft grey on the upper surfaces. Is it my limited color vision or does the testors grey look a little purple? I'll let it dry for a day and see. I used the pactra and testors to get a gloss finish for decaling.

PR19-kit has generously donated a set of 12 jump seats for the cabin. It looks much too empty in there. Back to back jump seats down the middle should busy it up nicely.

   hope you're still considering a the radical rotor concet we can't wait to see.

I have a plan for the rotors but I just have to experiment with how to build it. I want to cut the whole set of rotors from one sheet of plastic to make it less breakable and a better alignment. This will take some drafting skills I haven't used in a while.

Captain Canada

Looking the part now ! That's one of those kits I'd like to see in person, fly around the room etc. maybe even help the boys with a few training missions between the couch and the beer fridge.... :drink:

I really like the paint scheme and it is one great airship. Come in and do a load of missiles into the drop zone then put a good sized squad down there to keep the goonies busy. A couple of chain guns and it could even supply a little air support in a pinch.

I have some door guns ready. Good ole 50 cal.
Another problem will be picking decals. I have A-10, F-18, F-16 and F-4 to choose from. At least thats better than no decals. Hope they're not too old to work with.

I can see this dropping off Marine Recon squads or patrols.
There's an old saying. "The Air Force makes the enemy hide, the Navy shells them out of hiding, the Marines take the ground and send them running and the Army clears and secures the area and supports the Marines". It's one of those things a politician would say.
If I was on the ground and in trouble tho I'd love to see this coming in with more ammo and some help!
I'd call it 'Calgone' and scream "Calgone! Take me away"!  ;D

I do have a question for everyone here. As you may have noticed in the album pics, the cockpit seats do not have seat belts yet. What's the best may to add belts in 1/72nd scale? I was thinking of decal strips or painted strips of aluminum foil. What have you tried?
