WOW!!

On a more negative note, I now have to think of something else to do with that little old Concorde I have in my stash for that exact purpose...  :banghead:

Hehehe, my mind is TOTALLY boggled now!

But how far can it fly at that speed with all eight of those Olympus (Olympii?) going? About 25 yards perhaps?  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Ah, but you don't see the money saving glory of it - no need to worry about expensive countermeasure kit, any missile approaching within 1/4 mile of the back of that plane would simply melt!!

I couldn't think of a better British answer to the SR-71 &, like the SR-71, this baby would refuel after take-off (& would probably leak like a sieve on the ground, too).

Sweet!

Wonderfull

Semi serious question : what's your build rate ? Whatever it is makes my 2 per month average look glacial

my 2 per month average

My goodness, that's positively hypersonic compared to my usual rate!

I tend to go mad for a bit then do nothing for a year or 2, so your average is probably much higher than mine, also my build quality is on the rapid (impatient), do it till its done, rough 'n' ready kind  ;D

ah, er sorry about that, after putting the engine on top for the floatplane version I thought that'll work for an 8 engined job, then I thought I can't be the only one thinking that....get it done quick  ;D   on the +ve side mine is only a wheels up version

Well, it's wonderful anyway!  Obviously, I shall have to employ more lateral thinking than usual... ;)

DAMN that looks good!

Funnily enough, I've got a Concorde flying-boat with top-mounted engines currently stalled....
