Hey Guys, i was listening to country song once,and there was a Mention of a Chevy Cavalier in Camouflage! has Anyone ever Painted a Model car or a Real Car in a Camouflage Paint Scheme? i know it sounds Bonkers(and i Don't mean the Cartoon Character :lol:),but thought i'd ask. What say You? Thanks for Looking.Dan

There's some pretty camo schemes there. The problem with most is that they totally ignore one of the basic principles of camo: disrupting the shape of whatever you are trying to camouflage.

An advertisement for the Triumph Spitfire MkIII had it painted in WWII RAF Camo.

I know from a 1980ies real world Ford Fiesta which had been owned by a book author who had published a very good and detailed book about German WWI/II tank camouflage - and he had his private car painted in "Ambush/Hinterhalt" colors (pale sand, olive green and red brown)...

Nothing wrong with a Smart if you're after a city runabout. Not much cop on a motorway, but it's not designed for that.
