Anyone seen this website

http://www.novokits.ru/

Seems to be Sea Mosquito, CV01, Seafire and all sorts for the 2011 releases. Haven't worked out how to buy anything yet.......
If this is Upper Silesia, one can only wonder what Lower Silesia is like.

Gondor

near the top right are six buttons.... select the second one in from the right and you should find a whole series of buttons in different flags..... select the flag for the language of choice...... that should make life a lot easier

Anyone had any success ordering anything yet?

Once a place an item in the cart, you go to the shopping cart page but when I try and apply the language translation button (the little Union flag one for English), everything disappears.   I want to check out what postage rates are like before I purchase.   The prices are attractive but the postage might be ruinous from Russia.

There is a general description in English:
"Postage costs - 250 rub. Minimum order: models - 500 rubles.; Decals - 200 rubles., Magazines / catalogs - 300 rubles. If you're in Moscow, can be transmitted from hand to hand."
I tried to add something to my basket (in several languages), but when I wanted to find a country name, there are only 2 possible buttons: "Russia" and "SC choose shipping area". One can only choose Russia (it shows "free delivery") and a new window with name, address etc. will open. If you try  "SC choose shipping area", nothing happens. I couldn't find any possible way of choosing a different country yet.

I just get the feeling that this is just a huge urine extraction project...

I mean... the artwork is amateurish, if not downright abysmal.  The research is poor... Seafire XII?  Most are what ifs - the Sea Mosquito is, the Sea Typhoon is an Indian Carrier one.  It all reads like a work of fiction.

Mind, if it is on the level, it'd be nice but I won't believe it until they're in me hands and not before.  I'm still waiting for the Ju 287 and He 280 that PM announced in 1990.

I was suspicious because nobody on this forum had spotted the Whif potential and this has been around for a year! I found it by Googliing "Novo meteor"

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Hi all!
The http://www.novokits.ru/ site is actually dedicated to NOVO models history, and the E-shop at http://www.novokits.ru/index.php/hobbystash.html is also real. But the "new releases" boxarts from http://www.novokits.ru/2010.htm are only a little joke from the site owner... unfortunately.

We can hardly complain, it's a 'Whiffed' catalogue after all.  ;D

Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model
