NARSES2

Armourfast had a big stand at Southern Expo yesterday. Very good display. I was suprised at the extent of the range which is growing all the time.

Nice kits and 2 in the box makes good value so I thought I'd put the link up

Radish

Just used one for my Pug/Achilles combo....and also formy Sherman/Steam Gladiator combo. The Sherman hull is really complicated....4 parts including tracks!!! But it's good enough for conversions, and we all like to fiddle with things don't we  ;)
The later German stuff looks good....Panzer IVs, etc.....

Yup must admit they could get me back into armour building

Good. Lots of the fun is in adding extra bits.
The Italeri "Easy build" kits are good...particularly the Sherman IIIs. 2 in a box and both easy builds.

You know, as long as they're well moulded, I have no problem with one-piece tracks and wheels: they're no harder to paint than any other format and what does it matter? They should be covered in a uniform layer of mud anyway...

I've got the Armourfast Woverines, and they're nice little models.

Sounds like an easy way to build that T-34/76 with Panzer IV turret mod you mentioned Chris.  Guess you could do the other swap too.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

marco

great! thanks for the link!!
i've discovered the Stulg 33 b
i've suffered trying to do this one with an resin conversion and a poor injection kit (a disaster).. :banghead:
and now it's in fast assembly!!
great!!
I also enjoy the fast assembly kits with Pegasus/Armourfast/Italeri, we got a nice range of WWII (mainly except renault FT17 much versatile) of fast assembly kit for wargame or also whatif (easy) production.
My favourite are Italeri because decals are included.

This is interesting: Armourfast are doing injection houses at a sensible price:

Presumably other scenery will follow.

Makes Airfix's over-priced resin stuff look a bit sick, doesn't it?

Are ARMOURFAST soldier figures done in soft plastic or in hard?
Will die without understanding this world.

NARSES2

I don't know I'm afraid. They only do a few sets of figures.

Have a look at the site http://armourfast.com/figures-buildings-games/cat_6.html and send them an email ?

Well here's something I can stop whinging about: a 1/72nd scale M18 Hellcat.

Thanks to Rickshaw for pointing this out on the Revell thread.

The Armourfast Hellcat is available now: £8.40 direct from them, which seems pretty reasonable, given that there are two models in the box:

Intended for wargaming but still fairly well detailed. I've a couple of their kits in the stash and they are good value
