They shouldn't do that. Offering things for sale that you don't have is so wrong on so many levels  :banghead:

Had Amazon do similar as well

It's beacuse it's listed by the publishers, when existing stock run out they set the delivery time to reflect their scheduled restock from the publisher. Its only when they reply '"sorry mate we've sold out and its not due for a reprint" do they get delisted. It is says wait X number of weeks then its out of stock.

And I got an email from WHS this morning that said they had difficulties in getting delivery of the book and that '.......they may have to cancel my order if no supplies can be obtained'!

I replied that it would have been nice if they'd have informed me at the time of my order that they didn't actually have any in stock as that would have affected my willingness to place such an order. The email bounced as they don't accept incoming emails on that address.

Guess who's going to get a VERY rude phone call on Monday morning???  :banghead:

All cash flow.  They bank your money, they earn the interest, they send your money back eventually and keep the interest.
Used to be Thatcher's fault, now it's Clegg's!!!

They'll be getting a solicitor's letter from me if they try that trick..........
