That's very comprehensive, well spotted and thanks.

A pity the XFV-1 never did make a full VTOL flight, it always looked a bit more promsiing than the XFV-1 Pogo to me, but at least the whole USN VTOL programme gave us some excellent Whiffing material!  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
