RAN F-4 B/N Phantom

OK going back to the 1964 RAN study to replace HMAS Melbourne with the preferred option of a freshly modernised USN Essex class carrier outfitted with Tracker, Tracer & F-4 Phantoms. ( http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,32447.0.html)

So for the Aussierama build I'm going to scale things up a bit from the 1/700 ones i did last year to 1/72 scale using a Hasegawa F-4 kit, the RAN Skyhawk decals from Gekko's Kiwi Skyhawk set in 1/48th (Get a bigger Chess Knight that's more suitable than a 72nd one ), together with the RAN tow tractor i received from F4 Models last week  



The kit will be OOB and in USN colours in line with how the Skyhawks were most of their lives.
