Back to reality and applying multiple washes of "red" to the Beriev.
Then some detail painting in shades of red, and metally tones for the engines.
After that, more weathering and detail painting.

Decals on, all flat varnished. Just detail painting of lights, a few touch ups (I like touch ups...eerrmm!!) on the engines, fit transparances and props. The base is sprayed in black and it'll be glued to that.

Also sprayed a plain white Mask (as in a Ball mask) black for steampunking and adding to a hat.

I have a "modified" Walrus (the flying boat, not the animal) ready for priming in grey before having its French Navy(??) scheme...or it might be bright yellow and civil :o

Then, onwards with BIGGLES and a steampunked DC-3 in Swiss Neutrality colours.

Extra engine bits and base superglued on after the Zeppelin tribute gig the night before Huddersfield. Still needs an upper gun fixed and rear guns added. Tomorrow??

Busy painting a skull at Huddersfield....hopefully finished soon, as I have a Luftwaffe skull in mind. :drink: :drink:

Skull, base for '666 and the '666 sprayed/primed.

Next for spraying today are 2 1:1 helmets for Rocky Horror.
One for Mid will have a few decals after weathering, etc.; the other for a commission (???) will have goggles and other steampunk paraphanalia.

Pass on spraying the helmets....I've had more steampunky ideas for them so need nuts and bolts and other items....

Got some nuts/bolts and have some knobs for the "Eddie Steampunk Helmet"....the goggles are here, and I think I have insects for decoration.

Also, back on with the Me-666 and will paint it and its base tomorrow. Decals tomorrow night?

In between painting things, considering building one of my OA-4Ms as a single-seater (rear seat has extra bits added).....how about RAuxAF? French?...no, not French. RAF of some description....might be Gulf War.....who knows?
One thing is for sure...it'll be in flying mode.

A red nosed Me666???    I wasn't aware that the Luftwaffe supported  Comic Relief.
